What rateship.io is

rateship.io is the documentation and marketing site for the open-source rateship npm package. It is a static content site with no user accounts, no login, no dashboard, and no database.

What we collect

• Nothing, by default. Browsing rateship.io doesn't create an account or submit any data to us.
• Anonymous analytics: we use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint, and doesn't identify individual visitors.
• Messages you send via the contact form: if you email us at support@rateship.io or use the contact form, we keep that message to reply. We don't use it for anything else.

What we do not collect

• Your provider API keys. The SDK runs on your backend with keys you manage. Those keys never touch rateship.io.
• Shipment data. Addresses, parcels, rates, and labels stay between your backend and the providers you call.
• Payment information. The SDK is free and MIT-licensed. There's nothing to charge for.

Third parties we rely on

• Vercel, hosts the docs site and provides the analytics described above.
• npm, distributes the rateship package.
• GitHub, hosts the rateship source repository.

Each has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review theirs.

Your rights

You can email support@rateship.io at any time to have any correspondence you've sent us deleted. Because the site stores nothing else about you, there's very little else to request.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change what we collect, this page will be updated with a new effective date above.
